Pictures of the John Moyle Field Day.

We journeyed to Old Sydney Town for our inaugural competition under the new club call VK2AOJ. There were seven of us with all the gear we could beg borrow etc , slightly over done but you never know what might be needed. We had battery power galore and 4 generators to keep things up and running and ... plenty of tucker (talk about roughing it).

The competition kicked off at midday on Saturday, with us working 10/20/40/80/2 mtr frequencies. We certainly enjoyed ourselves and although tiredness caught up the spirit of the competition was great. We had some good reports from various clubs and calls as we spread the word that there is a new radio club now on air .

Pictures of the Lighthouse and Remembrance Day Contest weekend..

Again some members visited Old Sydney Town where it was a whole lot colder than during our previous visit in May......

But, we had fun and made a lot of contacts. Not enough pictures for a slide show, but here are some impressions:

Alan and his Lighthouse A captive Audience
