THE CLUB HELD A COMMEMENTORY DAY AT FORT SCRATCHLEY ON ANZAC DAY 2010

WITH THE WEATHER TYPICAL  for the occasion with HeavyRain  falling .

After setting up  and getting fed  by the ladies and gents from the

Fort Scratchley Historical Society

with a typical anzac day  luncheon  of

Bacon and Eggs and a sausage pattie on a  large  bread roll  it was time to fire up the radio.

It  looked  like being a great day as the queau was waiting to get  back to us  then we had something in the area start up causing a  massive interferance to the incoming calls with a  noise overpowering all that were trying to call in  5-9 30+ pulse  on 40 mtrs

that made for  a almost impossible  day  of trying to make contact with other hams , we did manage to get 20 contacts on  the bands before having to give it away  due to the interferance
